The Roma Education Fund Scholarship Programs and “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future” Foundation announce the seventh year of REF Law and Humanities Program (REF/LHP) for eligible Romani students at the university level in Moldova, Ukraine and Russia for 2010-2011 academic year. The funds for Law and Humanities Program come from “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future” Foundation.
The LHP scholarships shall be used to cover tuition, textbooks, exam fees and partially living expenses. The scholarships are not automatically awarded for the subsequent academic year, however are opened for renewal subject to successful completion of the prior academic year.
Eligibility Criteria:
(a) have been accepted at a recognized university in their home country or country of residence as a first year, full time student in the Fall of 2010, or
(b) already be enrolled full time students at such a university in the second or higher year of studies, or
(c) be current LHP scholarship holders who are eligible for renewal.
Priority will be given to applicants who study full time one of the following subjects: law, public administration, journalism, political science, sociology, economics and history.
The Program has the possibility to support the same applicant throughout his/her studies for: one BA degree, one MA degree and one PhD degree.
Application Process Deadlines:
(i) The DEADLINE for sending the completed LHP Scholarship Form, Grade Transcript, Recommendation Letter/s and a copy of your ID or passport is April 30th, 2010.
(ii) The DEADLINE for sending the original Enrollment and Tuition Fee Certificates is September 15th, 2010.
