The Educational Advising Center is launching the project CareerUP – Empowering Girls, which aims to provide training for 200 young women aged between 15 and 24, currently students at vocational education institutions: Vocational School No. 1 in Cahul and the Vocational School in Ceadir-Lunga.

Between October 2025 and February 2026, the young women will have the opportunity to develop the skills necessary for entering the labor market or starting their own small business.

The participants will attend training sessions structured into three practical and up-to-date modules:

  • Career guidance and labor market integration
  • Digital literacy and online tools
  • Financial education and entrepreneurship

Theoretical training will be complemented by practical online sessions, conducted in smaller groups, tailored to the interests of each participant. At the end of the project, a Career Fair will be organized, where the participants will be able to interact with potential local employers.

The project is implemented by the Educational Advising Center, in partnership with Vocational School No. 1 in Cahul and the Vocational School in Ceadir-Lunga, with the full financial support of the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
